Thus, Dianabol considerably slows down the rate at which protein is broken down in the muscle cell. An important reason why Dianabol works well in all athletes is that the endogenous cortisone production is reduced by 50-70%. A simple application of only 10 mg results in a 5-fold inerease in the average testosterone concentration in the male (2). Since Dianabol is also 17-alpha alkylated and thus largely protected against a loss in effect, it is recommended that the tablets be taken during meals so that possible gastrointestinal pains can be avoided. To prepare for a competition, Dianabol has only limited use since it causes distinct water retention in many athletes and due to its high conversion rate into estrogen it complicates the athletes fat breakdown. Those who are more interested in Strength and less in body mass can combine Dianabol with either Anavar or Winstrol tabs. The drug is metabolized in the liver by 6β-hydroxylation, 3α- and 3β-oxidation, 5β-reduction, 17-epimerization, and conjugation among other reactions. It has very low affinity for human serum sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG), about 10% of that of testosterone and 2% of that of DHT. As with other 17α-alkylated AAS, metandienone may be hepatotoxic, especially with prolonged use of high doses. The co-administration of an antiestrogen such as an aromatase inhibitor like anastrozole or a selective estrogen receptor modulator like tamoxifen can reduce or prevent such estrogenic side effects. As such, it can cause side effects such as gynecomastia and fluid retention. However, the concomitant elevation in estrogen levels - a result of the aromatization of methandrostenolone - results in significant water retention. It also has the effect of decreasing the steroid's affinity for sex hormone binding globulin, a protein that de-activates steroid molecules and prevents them from further reactions with the body. The 17α-methylation of the steroid does allow it to pass through the liver with only a small portion of it broken down (hence causing the aforementioned damage to the liver) allowing it to be effective when taken orally. Many users will combat the estrogenic side effects with Arimidex, Nolvadex or Clomid. Methandrostenolone binds tightly to the androgen receptor in order to exert its effects. An injectable form is sold online from United States based companies. For a period of time John Bosley Ziegler worked at the Ciba Pharmaceutical company, who supplied testosterone for experimental purposes. This use was quickly discontinued upon discovery of the heavily masculinising effects of methandrostenolone. In the early 1960s, doctors commonly prescribed 3 tablets per day for women as a tonic. This means that without the administration of aromatase inhibitors such as anastrozole or aminoglutethimide, estrogenic effects will appear over time in men. The drug causes severe masculinising effects in women even at low doses. Due to the unusual number of side effects and simultaneously the positive effect, there is speculation that the Russian Dianabol is a simple 17-alpha methyltestosterone. They range from nausea, vomiting, and elevated liver values to real cases of illness which have forced one or more athletes to stay in bed for several days. For a long time the Polish Metanabol was packaged in a small brown glass vial of 20 tablets each. Dr. Zeigler, the team physician for U.S. gold Olympic weightlifting team, played a large role in the research of altering testosterone to make it safer for the body. The primary urinary metabolites are detectable for up to 4 days, and a recently discovered hydroxymethyl metabolite is found in urine for up to 19 days after a single 5 mg oral dose. However, the concomitant elevation in estrogen levels – a result of the aromatization of metandienone – results in significant water retention. It also has the effect of decreasing the steroid's affinity for sex hormone-binding candy96.fun globulin, a protein that deactivates steroid molecules and prevents them from further reactions with the body. After CIBA's patent exclusivity period lapsed, other manufacturers began to market generic metandienone in the U.S. In 1965, the FDA pressured CIBA to further document its legitimate medical uses, and re-approved the drug for treating post-menopausal osteoporosis and pituitary-deficient dwarfism. FDA began the DESI review process to ensure the safety and efficacy of drugs approved under the more lenient pre-1962 standards, including Dianabol. CIBA filed for a U.S. patent in 1957, and began marketing the drug as Dianabol in 1958 in the U.S. Methods for detection in urine specimens usually involve gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The primary urinary metabolites are detectable for up to 3 days, and a recently discovered hydroxymethyl metabolite is found in urine for up to 19 days after a single 5 mg oral dose. It is a modification of testosterone with a methyl group at the C17α position and an additional double bond between the C1 and C2 positions. The elimination half-life of metandienone is about 3 to 6 hours. It is said to be the most widely used AAS for such purposes both today and historically. Metandienone was provided in the form of 2.5, 5 and 10 mg oral tablets. It is currently a controlled substance in the United States and United Kingdom and remains popular among bodybuilders. It is also used non-medically for physique- and performance-enhancing purposes. Automated page speed optimizations for fast site performance
